Introduces DataValidator for Informatica PowerCenter
First solution to automate data testing, validation and version upgrade initiatives
SAN FRANCISCO, February 3, 2009—DVO Software today announced
DataValidator™, a revolutionary new metadata-driven software application for
Informatica (NASDAQ: INFA) PowerCenter that automates the data testing and validation portion of data integration initiatives.
Business analysts and developers using
DataValidator can quickly and easily create powerful rules
that test the data being transformed during the data integration
process. This provides an independent method
to verify that Informatica PowerCenter transformations are error-free
and are integrating data in the way that business
users expect. With DataValidator,
data integration projects can be delivered faster, with less
risk and with greater confidence in the accuracy of resulting
data.
"Ensuring that the data being integrated from different sources across the organization is valid, accurate and
of high quality is too important to be left to custom coding of SQL queries," said Val Rayzman,
founder and CEO, DVO Software. "Using DataValidator,
our customers can perform data testing and validation faster, more comprehensively and at a significantly lower cost."
"Based on our analysis, DataValidator will allow us to reduce the time we spend validating and testing data by up to 80 percent," said
Satish Palvai, chief technology officer, Xactly. "We’ve been impressed with its capabilities, and find it can significantly
shrink the amount of time needed for data validation test-case
creation, execution, and maintenance during development and QA phases."
Unique Product Designed for Demanding Enterprise Data
